Stan Lake was an artist, activist, performer, and ceramicist during the 1980s and 1990s, known for detailed and delicate figurative work. Lake was associated with grunt gallery and the Helen Pitt Gallery (now Unit/Pitt), and was friends and collaborator with collector John Lawrence and activist artist Bill Rennie.
