Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of works installed in a gallery space with white walls and cement floors. The space is darkened, with a low, enclosed ceiling making the room feel more confined and cave-like in contrast with the room that an opening on the east side of the gallery leads to which feels brighter with wooden furniture that brings warmth to the space. Back in the gallery space, mounted on the north wall are colours and black-and-white photographs in various sizes and orientations taking over the entire wall. The photographs are mounted in a salon-style hang, featuring a plethora of different subjects in different environments including documentation of hangouts, people posing in front of the camera and other artistic photographs. Track lighting illuminates the photographs from above, being the only source of light in the darkened room. In the middle of the space is an analogue TV on a white plinth, the TV is facing away from the camera towards the room on the east side. In the other room, a person sits at the front desk behind a computer, wooden bookshelves line the walls behind her with various books displayed. A seating space is built into a wall with a red bench pad.
