About the Program
A monologue rich with moments of reflection and humour, Thirza Cuthand's Alice examines survival, visibility, and intersecting queer and Indigenous identities as Lewis Carroll's Alice, who also appears in her 1999 video work, Through the Looking Glass. Alice was performed as part of ALA's Havana Gallery Series and was curated by Lynn Hill. The ALA collective is a curatorial collaboration between Adad Hannah, Lynn Hill, and Archer Pechawis.~root~>Artist
