About the Program
Vancouver artist Sandra Lockwood is known for her strong, graceful, emotional performances. Lockwood presented a song/poem cycle based loosely on the life and work of astronomer/inventor Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687) and his wife Elizabeth as part of ALA's Havana Gallery Series, curated by Adad Hannah. The ALA collective is a curatorial collaboration between Adad Hannah, Lynn Hill, and Archer Pechawis.~root~>Artist
