About the Program
Inertia: in-'ər-shə, -she'ə 1 a: a property of matter by which it remains at rest or in uniform motion in the same straight line unless acted on by some external force. This performance consists of drama expressed in body movement. The feelings and emotions she expresses in this piece have come out of the energy gained by past anger at racial injustices, transferred into a celebration of strength of the self within. ~root~>
