About the Program
Hester Reeve's performance from the Chicago Performance Art Series.Virtual reality. Man is so fascinated with his tools that now he wants to climb inside it. Of course our concept of tool has changed as have our needs which instigated their production in the first place. The ignorance of of nature's place in the body, the immersion into total man-made environment had reached a pinnacle. We cannot forget our bodies. They store information dating back to prehistory. Each cell contains clues. My performance is a program which attempts to access their meaning.
