About the Program
Presented by Western Front, Catwalk Entry: A Subverted Runway Show was a performance art fashion show of local artists, curated by Mexican performance artist Lorena Wolffer and produced by Lori Weidenhammer. As well as creating a unique group show, Wolffer performed her own piece, which critiqued the effect of the North American Free Trade Agreement on the women of Mexico. Other performers included Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa, Aiyyana Maracle, Irene Loughlin, Jocelyn Grant, and Kim Dawn.~root~>Curator
