About the Program
Co-curated by Lisa Ravensbergen and Daina Warren, and presented by Full Circle in conjunction with grunt and the Firehall Arts Centre, theTalking Stick Cabaret was an event that that complimented the National Aboriginal Day celebrations. Building on the tradition of the talking stick and the Western notion of cabaret, artists collaborated with curators to present two nights of original, diverse, and innovative artistic expression in a professional venue. The cabaret explored the nature of Indigenous tradition and traditional influences/practices for contemporary Indigenous artists.Director
