Queen Street Off Main: Seven Toronto Artists

January 19 – 30, 1988
Exhibition, Artist Talk

About the Program

Queen Street in Toronto has quickly become an important district for visual art in that city. Many of the artist-run centres are on Queen or just off it. Important, younger commercial galleries are springing up and taking chances on younger artists and tougher work. It is important for Vancouver artists and audiences to see this work. The exhibition consists of seven Toronto painters and shows a range of work being produced. Julie Voyce and Steven Graham accompanied the exhibition and facilitated an artist talk and slide presentation.
