June 16 – July 29, 2006
Exhibition, Artist Talk

About the Program

Maurice Spira's Trips: New Work featured two-dimensional surrealist paintings produced over 2004-2005 that stem from the artist's anxieties, alarms, and terrors. The exhibition consisted of five new paintings: Separation Anxiety, Talk is Cheap, Pink Parade, Masquerade, and Age of Terror, plus two earlier related triptychs: The Dominance of Gravity and Command Performance. An artist talk was presented on June 14, 2006.
