Sangria

February 4 – 26, 2005
Exhibition

About the Program

Sangria was an exhibition comprised of large-scale paintings. Influenced by Western art history and landscape paintings, Raffael Iglesias fuses techniques of street art, automobile art, tattoo art, Latin American art, poster art, and animation to create his intensely colourful paintings. He describes his work as the product of an inevitable amalgamation and fusion of his internal dialogue and the external relationships with others in an urban environment.
