About the Program

In Revelations, long-time friend of grunt, Tom Wren presents a series of works in collaboration with a one-legged doll who he has come to know as 'Hoppy.'

"Hoppy is not just a 'creation' but part of me laid bare for the world to see, a broken sentence in an internal dialogue that understands itself well enough but resists translation. While I am anxious and suspicious of Hoppy's intent (he already has too much power over me), I am convinced a reconciliation is possible and we can become a full person." - Tom Wren
