About the Program
Glenn Lewis' Mondo Artie #6070 at the Vancouver Art Gallery, was the opening event of the LIVE Biennial of Performance Art 2001. A performance in a retrospective format, inventing and telling tales of performance in Vancouver from the 1960s and 70s. This multimedia project was published in the LIVE at the End of the Century anthology and featured an ensemble cast made up of a who's who of Vancouver performance artists, including Archer Pechawis, Mary Beth Knechtel, Peter Bingham, Jay McLaughlin, Rebecca Belmore, Gathie Falk, Paddy Ryan, Victoria Singh, Anna Banana, Kate Craig, Lizard Jones, Hank Bull, Patrick Ready, John Boehme, Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa, and Joe Sarahan.~root~>Artist
