In Lise Beaudry's Welcome to the Inflated World of Rain and Muffin, the ongoing saga on Rain and Muffin conspires to enter us into humorous representations of lesbian love. Rain and Muffin are two inflatable sex dolls—purchased at a Montreal sex shop and manufactured for the male consumer—who have found love in each other's arms. Photographed in romantic trysts in various exotic locales around the world, Beaudry's photographs explore our utopian notions of love through engendering notions of envy and desire.Artist
