About the Program

Eine Kleine Nacht Radio/Improvisation for X's and O's featured two performances by Margaret Dragu. Eine Kleine Nacht Radio furthers Dragu's investigations into physical death, the death of two primary industries (fishing and farming), as well as other deaths and losses. The work was produced for SetUp, a series of English Canadian and Quebecois artists touring Germany and the Netherlands in June 1998.

For Improvisation for X's and O's, Dragu included musician Jim Monroe—who is well-known to Vancouver audiences for his violin playing in the du Maurier Jazz Festivals, as well as in many clubs, galleries, and cafes.
