About the Program

Warren Arcand's Flamingo Killers performance cites the killing of flamingos in Stanley Park by a suburban youth in the late 1980s. The first urge is to 'explain' his act, but, more interestingly, to try to find out what it 'is,' by drafting a kind of map and locating sensations on its wet and rippling contours.
