A Sea

September 15 – October 3, 1998
Exhibition, Artist Talk

About the Program

The work of New York-based artist Tim Watkins has traditionally combined mechanical kinetic sculpture and organic forms into public art projects. In A Sea, he returns to the gallery setting and moves towards more intimate and personal themes reflective of his life. Through his use of materials, form, and sometimes movement, Watkins is looking to successfully achieve that elusive "art experience," where the work is felt beyond the confines of verbal description. An artist talk was presented on September 16, 1998.
