About the Program
Merle Addison's and Brice Canyon's Flowers features recent work dealing with the symbolism of the flower in contemporary culture. Life and death in the garden. The two artists' work are a current and contemporary insistence on the older genres they employ. There is an urgency to their need to pull new meaning out of old forms.
