About the Program
In A Brown Day, a series of brush and ink drawings, Sergio Finamore questions notions of humanitarianism and philanthropy. Finamore uses old first aid texts and 1950s LIFE Magazine photos as sources in narratives which speak to the 1990s. Sordid, awkward, and misanthropic, this world seems oddly familiar.~root~>Artist
