About the Program
Art, media, and politics intersect in Bill Horne's sardonic, sobering, and sometimes humorous exhibition Words of Gold. Horne has taken his correspondence with politicians and silk-screened it onto "curtains" that partially conceal documentary and imaginary images. The series covers topics such as the Oka Crisis, Indonesia's occupation of East Timor, and BC's export of raw lumber.~root~>Artist
