Snapshots and Manipulations

March 20 – 31, 1990
Exhibition

About the Program

Merle Addison's exhibition Snapshots and Manipulations combines elements of photography and collage to create black and white abstractions that denote spiritual and emotional concerns. His work does not create a narrative as much as portray a feeling or an emotional state. The resultant works combine re-photographed snapshots, photograms, and other darkroom techniques and are richly textured and densely layered.
