About the Program

Wobbly: 80 Years of Rebel Art was a touring exhibition comprised of 85 pieces from various artists dating back to Joe Hill. The show was curated by Carlos Cortez, a longtime member and artist in the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) in Chicago. Wobbly: 80 Years of Rebel Art was courtesy of the local chapter of the Wobs and was a visual history of the oldest labour union in North America, bringing together IWW cartoons, illustrations, and posters from the union's first 80 years.
