About the Program

Vancouverite Douglas Andrew graduated from UBC in 1978 with a B Ed. in Art. While teaching in Surrey, he held two outdoor exhibits of dye paintings. He has also produced 10 posters which have sold in poster shops for the last ten years. He has travelled extensively through Europe, Asia, and North Africa. The works in Behind Eyes are brush and ink. Andrew says, "I've worked in most mediums but have chosen brush and ink and the monochromatic style for the simplicity of presentation."
