About the Program
Blues is the 3rd Annual Member Show. grunt has run non-stop for over 3 years and 75 exhibitions, and each year on the month of our anniversary, the members at grunt prepare a show of their work. This year the theme is Blues, chosen for its evocative moods and textures, and multiplicity of meanings. The exhibition featured over 20 artists, ranging from original members to members of just a few months. In addition to the opening on October 20, performance artist Lowell Morris performed a new work and jazz singer Kate Hammett-Vaughan sung a set of blues. On October 24, there was also a concert of solo blues guitar music by Terry Edmunds.~root~>Artist
