About the Program
Polly Bak's Black and White investigates the sculptural side of collassemblage. In limiting herself to just the colours black and white, Bak will concentrate on form in this series. She states that she is beginning to retrieve a balance between collassemblage as painting and collassemblage as sculpture. The near elimination of bright colours from her work has forced a greater clarity.~root~>Artist
