About the Program
Aperture exhibited photographs by European-born Leslie Csere. The works have a quality of darkness and light that is unique and speak to the camera's ability to create meanings. The artist states that, "In a novel a subject has its meaning, its existence through the writer. Here the subject has only the most limited meaning through the lens. His meaning is much larger."~root~>Artist
