About the Program

A performance from the 1985 Fringe Festival. "I wanted to break through an unrealistic theatrical convention garrulity. The most important 'action' of my characters is their silence... Their problems lie so far back and are so advanced that they are no longer able to express them in words." - Franz Xaver Kroetz

Request Concert is about the role of order in a woman's life. It deals with loneliness and non-communication. She has no words to convey the desperateness of her situation. Huachiman Theatre has been working in Vancouver for the last five years. This production stars Morgan McGuigan and is directed by Glenn Alteen.
