Homo Erratica

September 4 – 7, 1985
Exhibition

About the Program

Homo Erratica consisted of photographs by Oraf, Brian Lynch, Juan Rey, Daniel Collins, and Bob Jemison on the theme of male/male sexuality. This was the first time that photographers in Vancouver had the opportunity to deal diversely with the theme of the male body. The show title reflects the range of the work and hopes to mirror the complexities and ambiguities of being gay in a world that constantly flashes back images that don't reflect our realities or concerns. Opening night on September 3, 1985 featured a guest performance by "Mr. Alternator Vancouver" Billy Gene called Two Generations of Drag.
