Creative Access Description
A colour portrait image of a mixed media drawing in portrait orientation mounted on a white wall. The drawing is done with acrylic and tea on canvas. It features intricate drawings of a cluster of animals, mainly fish at the bottom of a rectangular white structure with a square window near the top. The window has a bold red outline that stands out from the stark white structure. A large fish jumps out of the mound, curving its body behind the white structure. From the window, we can see the fish’s head with its mouth wide open and spraying a red streak into the air. An undulating tubular form emerges from the mound, wraps around the fish’s torso, rolls in and out of the white structure through the window, and back into the mound. At the bottom edge of the window, a human figure appears to be falling with repetitive outlines of its body marking each phase of the fall. The tea-stain-coloured background has small grain-like shapes floating in the air and filling the space.Description
