Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of works installed in grunt gallery’s secondary smaller gallery that has been turned into a “records room” with white walls, stylized wood lattice ceiling and cement floors. On the left wall, the first thing you’d encounter when walking in from the main gallery is black vinyl lettering mounted on the wall. The lettering displays the title “records room” in a large serif font followed by a description underneath it in a smaller serif font. To the left of this, is a white double door that is closed and mounted on them are newspaper clippings and archived documentation about Black history in Vancouver. To the right, against the back wall, there is a large table with different publications and art programming placed on top. Also on the back wall, to the right of the table, is black vinyl lettering in a serif font displaying the title “special acknowledgements” followed by a list of names underneath it.~root~>
