Creative Access Description
A colour portrait image of the bottom half of a ceramic sculpture installed in a gallery space with white walls and cement floors. The sculpture is made up of vertically stacked small vessels with varying circumferences and surfaces that have been manipulated in various ways into textured expanding bulges and smooth undulating shapes. The vessel at the base of the sculpture has copper-brown accents that pool around the valleys of its bumpy surface, highlighting the bulges. The vessel on top of it has a dark brownish-grey glaze with a satin finish that accentuates the rings around the vessel, hinting at the wheel-throwing process, with lumps and bulges in the middle section similar to the ones on the vessel underneath it.~root~>Description
