A colour portrait image of the top half of a tall ceramic sculpture installed in a gallery space with white walls. The sculpture is made up of vertically stacked small vessels with varying circumferences and surfaces that have been manipulated in various ways. They have been glazed with earthy greys and whites with speckles and drips in certain areas. The surface of the vessels varies, some parts have textured expanding bulges and some smooth undulating shapes. The top vessel has a diagonal seam in the middle of it, further accentuated by the grey glaze that pools around the dips and curves of the vessel.Description
