Creative Access Description
A colour portrait image of a tall ceramic vessel, about the height of an adult, installed in a gallery space with white walls and cement floors. The vessel is made up of vertically stacked smaller vessels with varying circumferences and surfaces that have been manipulated in various ways, one part being made up of a vertical spheroid vessel with circle rings precisely painted in the centre. It has been glazed with earthy greys and browns that highlight the valleys and crevices of the textured surface. The surface of the vessel varies, some parts have textured expanding bulges and some with smooth undulating shapes. The vessel stands tall, resembling a totemic figure.Description
