Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of a series of six ceramic vessels with undulating silhouettes, some as tall as an adult, arranged sparsely inside a gallery space with white walls, cement floors and a window wall entrance. Each vessel is made up of vertically stacked smaller vessels with varying circumferences and surfaces that have been manipulated in various ways. The vessels are glazed with natural colours, ranging from earthy greys and browns to calm tones of green and blue. The surface of each vessel varies, some are more textured, some smooth and some have holes possibly referencing flesh, cuts, scars or bruises. One of the vessels sits close to the ground, shaped like a large hollow globe with a big hole at the top, stacked on top of a smaller circular ring. The other five vessels stand tall resembling totemic figures.
