Creative Access Description

Colour landscape image of the mural painted directly on the gallery's south wall depicting buildings both standing and crumbling. There is a large television painted to the right of the buildings. These drawings are black line drawings on the white walls, with pops of light blue, also surrounded by a large rectangular section of black paint. Text in English is near the top of the black section in yellow block letters. Spanish is near the bottom in bright green letters. To the right of the TV is smaller black text on the white walls. The text reads: 'EVERYONE FEARED MORE QUAKES / WOULD COME AND WE'D BE CRUSHED BY / OUR HOMES, I DON'T REMEMBER / IF THE PILES OF / RUBBLE AND PILES / OF PEOPLE WERE / SOMETHING I LIVED / THRU OR JUST SAW / ON TV. / I GREW UP / SEEING MY / COUNTRY FALL AND / CRACK AND BREAK / OVER AND / OVER AGAIN', 'NO RECUERDO SI LOS ESCOMBROS Y / LOS CADAVERES FUERON ALGO QUE / VIVI O ALGO QUE VI EN LA TELE', and 'CRECI VIENDO A MI PAIS CAER / Y ROMPERSE UNA Y OTRA VEZ.'
