Creative Access Description

A colour portrait image of a sculptural work being photographed in the middle of a gallery space with white walls and cement floors. The sculpture consists of a paper mache base resembling tree branches with stalky golden-brown tendrils that platform three separate gelatin sculptures filled with flower petals, syringes and limeflower. Underneath the sculpture, is a collaged fabric mat printed with images of rats and lab equipment. The sculpture and the fabric mat are sitting on top of a large black fabric mat. There are two cameras attached to a tall tripod, towering over the sculpture with the cameras angled downwards towards the sculpture. Beside this is another camera sitting on a shorter tripod around the same height as the sculpture pointed directly toward it. The cameras are connected to a computer monitor sitting on top of a white plinth to the left of the cameras, displaying the viewfinder which shows the sculpture against a pitch-black background, as if floating in a dark void.
