Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of a risograph and letterpress printed book, titled “Ho Sun Hing Printers”, placed on top of a tall large plinth along with a collection of printing blocks. The book measures eight inches tall and five inches wide. It has a pink cover and features a hand-drawn illustration of Ho Sun Hing Printers’ facade: a green, two-storey building with three windows on the top floor and a storefront on the first floor with a green and white awning that has the business name, phone number and address. The sides of the plinth are covered in a repetitive canned abalone block pattern, printed in black. The work is installed by the gallery’s window wall entrance with green shrubbery and parked cars outside the window.Description
