Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of two screen-printed accordion books on paper and book cloth, titled “Cheng Foo” and “Mary Ko Bong”, placed on top of a custom-made white table in a gallery space. The books contain hand-drawn illustrations that tell the stories of Cheng Foo and Mary Ko Bong. In the background is the gallery’s window wall entrance with green shrubbery and parked cars outside. Slightly out of focus on the right side of the entrance is a tall large plinth covered in a repetitive canned baby abalone block pattern, printed in black, with a pink book placed upright on top of it, protected under a plexiglass case.Description
