Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of works installed in a gallery space with a window wall entrance, a midnight blue wall, and cement floors. In the center of the image, installed to the right of the window wall entrance is an installation of faux plants and racked mortars referencing a fireworks display on a low wooden platform. At the bottom, a “waterfall” effect with tufts of meadow grass sits below an array of pin-cushion flowers with pampas grass stalk tails as “comets”. Five spider plants, each bearing several plantlets, are suspended above. To the right, there are three 24-inch square acrylic panels with engraved pathways illuminated by coloured light against a black background. The panels depict three distinct types of firework effects and their characteristic shapes, which look like long-exposure photographs. On the left side of the image, there is a light wood table that extends past the left edge of the image. The table displays tactile items that suggest distinctive characteristics of firework movements.~root~>
