Creative Access Description

Colour landscape image depicting Koochie's works installed at grunt gallery. Two sculptural works, West Coast Dawn and Thumbs Up For The Rolling Stones, sit atop a cross cut piece of cedar and a black and red vertically striped plinth respectively. In the centre of the frame a carved stone vessel sits atop a piece of deer skin and a yellow painted plinth. Behind it on the floor are two large rounded grey stone carvings, each sitting atop a pile of smaller stones. The white gallery wall displays two carved alder masks and a long strip of red and black fabric hung diagonally across the wall, the lower edge seemingly burned to create an irregular fringe. The show title Koochie's Greatest is printed on the wall in red vinyl lettering. To the right of the frame are two works against a black backdrop, a small white marble vessel displayed on a floating wooden shelf and a pressed paper work depicting a raven's head.
