Bannockology: a community collaboration of stories, art, essays, recipes, and poems about Bannock
2009
Open Space and Camosun College organized a joint artist-in-residence project with artist, curator, storyteller, and writer Peter Morin. During his May through June 2009 residency, Morin activated twelve “Indigenous Dada” actions, choreographed interactive events that borrowed from his Tahltan culture and from contemporary art strategies. As an adjunct to the residency and installation, Open Space published Bannockology, a book edited by Morin, featuring stories, art, essays, recipes, and poems about Bannock.
