Creative Access Description

Black and white portrait oriented image of a Siksika man seated in an armchair. The man is turned profile with respect to the camera and has one leg crossed over the other. His hands are together in his lap clutching a portrait of actress Bette Davis. His head is titled slightly back and his long dark hair disappears into the shadows behind him. His facial expression is one of satyrical pain and longing. He wears a set of white pyjamas with thin vertical stripes. In the background to his right is a small table with a vase of flowers, bottle of wine, and assorted glasses. On the wall behind him are hung several images of Bette Davis, including a cartoon illustration emphasizing her dark eyes and prominent brow. The remainder of the set is obscured by shadows.
