Conceived with the collaboration of Alberto Salvadori—in a process that has taken 4 years, starting in 2009, at the time of the solo show at Museo Marino Marini in Florence—this catalogue-monograph on the work of Flavio Favelli gathers the entire body of work done by the artist over the last seven years of his career, grouped into sets by subject to illustrate the multiple created strategies deployed by Favelli in his expressive research. With essays by Simone Menegoi, Chris Sharp, and Ariella Yedgar, the book supplies a series of tools and keys of interpretation that are indispensable for an analytical exploration of the universe of personal experiences and iconographic references that make up the complex landscape of this artist.
