Catalogue of an exhibition held at the Winnipeg Art Gallery from January 25 to April 29, 2001. The exhibition featured two of Hill's most recent video works. Testing the limits of vision and sound, the works engage the viewer's whole being in the experience of art. The works are truly provocative, for they take us outside our comfort zone. They cause us to reconsider our assumptions and pre-conceptions about what artwork and gallery visits are meant to be. In doing so, Hill reminds us of the importance of art as a tool of communication, and the power of art in changing our perceptions about the world.
