Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of various works installed in a gallery space. In the center of the space are two low, square benches made out of bamboo and wood with ceramic mini versions of the benches placed below one bench and on top of the other. To the left of the benches is a dresser drawer made of untreated soft wood, filled with folded fabric and placed upon four matching table legs. Vibrant, chaotic surreal paintings are mounted in the left back corner with organically shaped paper sculptures bordering the paintings on either side. Also at the back of the gallery is a stack of large 18 x 24-inch posters on the ground in a tight column. To the right of this stack, along the east wall are three works featuring rectangular panels connected vertically and suspended from metal flagpoles installed on the wall. To the left, close to the west wall, a denim tapestry is suspended on a line that bisects the gallery from west to east. The patchwork is erratically and loosely stitched creating holes and empty patches.Description
