Neighbours in Dialogue
2005
Neighbours in Dialogue brings together texts by art critics, art historians, and curators of the South Caucasus, Middle East, and Eastern Mediterranean countries' art environments. It includes a visual selection, which is a small exhibition of reproductions of artworks selected by the participants. The book was invited to the Venice Agendas meetings held as a parallel event to the 51st Venice Biennale. Held during the biennial opening, this event was organized as a three-day series of lectures by Wimbledon School of Art and Nuova Icona. Neighbours in Dialogue, which gives its name to the event, was introduced and discussed at the Venice Agendas opening meeting by participating authors and editors of the book (Venice Agendas, June 9-11, 2005, Metropole Hotel, Venice).
