Madde-Işik 2 was published on the occasion of the exhibition at Borusan Müzik Evi, Istanbul, curated by Richard Castelli, from May 28 to September 25, 2011. One year after the first edition of Madde-Işik, Madde-Işik 2 expands on themes proposed in the first exhibition. Subjects already touched on that are explored further include: Immersion (works by Kurt Henschläger and [The User]) and Physical Virtuality (works by Christian Partos, Joachim Sauter and Dirk Lüsebrink (ART+COM), and Julien Maire). To these themes, Madde-Işik 2 now adds a new strand: Matter and Light (with works by Jean Michel Bruyère and Li Hui). All the works are presented for the first time in Turkey or have been created specifically for Borusan Müzik Evi.
