Creative Access Description

A black and white landscape image of two masked performers standing close, embracing one another. The person on the left is a Six Nations woman with long dark hair and wearing a dark, long-sleeved dress. She is being embraced tightly from behind by a Snaw-Naw-As man wearing a white dress jacket. Both of them are wearing a white mask that obscures their faces except for two slits for the eyes and a gap for the mouth. The mask is tied around their heads and is sculpted to their face, made from paper mache, plaster or a similarly textured material. The man appears to be talking with his mouth open next to her exposed neck as her head is slightly tilted back. In the dimly lit background are a white gallery wall, a storage unit, vertical pipes and a light switch.
