Creative Access Description

A black and white portrait image of a Métis woman and a Snaw-Naw-As man standing side-by-side and holding each other. The woman has long dark hair and wears a leather jacket with long hanging fringes, shiny skin-tight leggings, and a bandana rolled and tied as a headband around her head. Her right hand rests in the air in front of her, while the man holds her left hand. The man has long dark hair and is wearing a white mask that obscures all of his face except for two slits for his eyes and a gap for his mouth. The mask is tied around his head and is sculpted to his face, made from paper mache, plaster or a similarly textured material. He is also wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and white pants. Behind his mask, his eyes are looking at the woman while she looks upwards, fixing her gaze to the sky. In the background are white gallery walls with stains and marks towards the bottom.
