Creative Access Description

A black and white portrait image of a Métis woman crouching down on her tippy toes against a white wall while a figure crouches over her, a Snaw-Naw-As man wearing a white mask that obscures all of his face. The woman wears a leather jacket with long hanging fringes and a bandana rolled and tied as a headband holding her long black hair from her face.  She is staring at the floor with a neutral expression. The masked man behind her has long dark hair and is wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and white pants. The mask, tied around his head, has two slits for his eyes and is sculpted to his face, made from paper mache, plaster or similarly textured material. His knees are bent while his arms are raised as if carefully approaching the woman. In the background are a storage unit, vertical pipes and light switches.
